This blog post is about a tool of my own interest from the list of technologies (software).
Skyward is an online school management technology that includes student management, such as grades, human resources, and financial management.

Parents, teachers, administrators, and other school personnel are all able to use Skyward.
Skyward has many functions including a gradebook, attendance, health office visits, classroom tools, and messaging with families,
Overall this tool is easy to use, it is versatile as a school and classroom management technology. This was a tool that the school district I attended used so, I think it is likely that I will be using something like this as a future teacher.
This tool connects to the TLC framework because it has a communication aspects to it. Teachers and families are able to send messages and teachers can input grades on skyward so families can stay updated.

ReplyDeleteI find this tool is actually full of benefits and seems like something I would also love to use in my own classroom, great for both educators as well as parents to keep tabs on the students progress. Great blog post Lilli.

ReplyDeleteI used skyward in high school, however, it has definitely had some major upgrades! I think the only thing I could do was check my grades!
