Teams
This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT about previous T3PP results. Specifically, Teams in the technologies list.
Teams is a Microsoft based platform that allows for collaboration, meetings, and chats. Teams also allows you to turn assignments in and has a calendar so you can see when something is due or needs to be done.
Apps can be added in order to increase student engagement. There is a wide variety of apps to choose from, I've attached a screenshot below that shows a few of the options. There is a category specific to education that has apps made for educational purposes.
Teachers can use teams to quickly respond to students, share files and websites, create notebooks, organize interactive lessons, provide feedback, post grades, and share instructional material with other teachers or school personnel.
Teams is easy to use and can be used for a variety of educational purposes. I think it is possible that I will use this in my future classroom, especially if there is ever a reason to have a fully online environment.
Teams connects to PICRAT in that it amplifies instruction and makes it more interactive. A teacher could find a way to transform their instruction and reach the creative level depending on the activity they choose to do on Teams.
