Class Dojo
This blog entry is about a tool of my own interest from the list of technologies in the T3PP results ppt, the tool is Class Dojo.
Class Dojo is an educational technology that is used for communication between teachers, students, and families. You can send pictures and videos, send messages which can be translated into more than 35 languages.
After making an account, teachers can add the school they work at and then add students and families. There is a section called the class story where teachers can post information about their classroom. There is also a section called portfolios where teachers can share student work, provide feedback, and share student accomplishments.
This is what the messaging section of Class Dojo looks like.
There is also an area to message other school personal and to look at the school calendar and directory.
Overall, Class Dojo is very easy to use and a good platform for family communication and helps keep families informed and involved. This is a tool that I think I am likely to use in my future classroom.
This technology connects to the TLC framework because of the communication that Class Dojo allows between teachers, students, and families.

Hey Lillianne, great blog! I have never heard of Dojo, it seems like a great way to communicate with your students or school staff. I will definitely look into it!
