Google Classroom

This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT about previous T3PP results. Specifically, Google Classroom in the technologies list.

Google classroom is an online platform for learning. Teachers are able to put up learning materials like slides, readings, videos and more. Quizzes can be added for students to complete and teachers can make assignments that students need to submit a document to.

Teachers are able to track student progress in the gradebook and easily give feedback to students on their work. Students can adjust the accessibility in the settings and can change the language. It also allows students to easily keep track of when assignments are due.

Google Classroom is easy to use for both teachers and students and is very versatile in how the classroom can be set up. I think it is likely that I may have to use this in a future classroom, if something like COVID ever happens again I could see needing to utilize this tool and it could be useful to use as a place for students to easily access class materials.

This technology falls under the presenting the content event on the 7 event framework. It also falls under the eliciting the desired behavior, providing the feedback, and assessing the lesson outcome events.
